Befriend your body. Rewrite the story of your life.

Hello –
I’m Sonja Semyonova, and I’m a somatic intimacy coach who helps people who are fed up with modern love regain their ability to trust again.

Letters to my Lovers: A Memoir of Love, & Loss
This book is for anyone who wants to believe in love again. But not love the way it’s being sold. This is not about fairy tales and Hollywood romances, but trusting the true nature of love, one that is as glorious as it is brutal.
In 25 intensely personal love letters and an essay that offers an alternative to modern romance, you’ll learn what it means to risk everything for love and live to tell the tale. More than just secrets from the bedroom, this book is a guide to creating real intimacy in an increasingly closed-off world.

The Heartbreak Cure
Within every story of pain lives the story of your power. Write your redemption tale with me as your guide.

In Your Words
“It is so refreshing and humbling to receive healing from someone who walks you home to your own medicine within your heart. That’s all we could ever ask for. To walk each other home to the truth within.”

I’m Sonja.
I’m a writer and somatic intimacy coach, and I’m on a mission to revive your trust in love.
The start and end point of this trust fall? Giving you the tools to let your body be your guide.
As a person who grew up with tons of mixed messages around the value and purpose of my body (didn’t we all?), I’ve dedicated my life to understanding the power that exists inside this vessel. Over the years, I’ve studied trauma healing, intuitive energy work, mythology, somatic sex education, erotic expression, kink, witchcraft, mythology, narrative healing, yoga, Ayurveda, herbal medicine, and so much more (if I’m not studying something, I’m probably dead).
Here’s what I’ve found: Your body’s signals are your access point to your inner wisdom, intuitive guidance, self-expression, life purpose, and more. But alongside that exists a vast array of stories – mental and emotional constructs – that can help or hurt you.
My work is about helping you sort out the truth from the falsehoods that live in your felt experience. This allows you to trust how you feel in the presence of another person, ask for what you want without apology, and maintain a rock solid foundation no matter who or what comes your way.
If you’re ready to experience the kind of intimacy you’ve always dreamed of (and leave the rest aside) sign up for a free 30-minute call.

"I was surprised by how well Sonja really listened to me, and not just my words. She is present, and thus can find the deeper expression among all the rambling and 'I don’t knows.'"
"Sonja is a wise, authentic guide teaching deep and mind-blowing truths using a fun, light-hearted approach.
After each session, I feel more in touch with my intuition and filled with optimism."

The Story of Surrender
I know what surrender looks like. She’s on her knees in response to my direction. But the buzz in my ears tells me she is afraid. I ask her what she feels. A desire to run away, she says. I tell her to stand and move away from my sight. He’s crawling toward me on...
Man or Bear or Me
The man vs. bear debate needs one more fighter in the woods: me (and you.) The question has been bouncing around online for some time now. The polls are closed and women have chosen the bear. But I question the question itself, and therefore the integrity of the data....
Love Bombs
“I love you” used to be a compliment, now it’s more of a curse. See it in the way we settle for the mechanics. How we take juiceless walks through songs we should slow dance to. Why we tap a thirst trap and still stay thirsty. Our shields are raised. Our arms are...
