Befriend your body. Rewrite the story of your life.

You didn’t possibly think I could write the first post without the second?

To set up for this post, allow me to quote myself from earlier this week:

“All living beings abide by this rule: Take something in, move something out.”

When you get into Ayurveda, you get into poop. Not like that…more as a way to read your body. All things that come in must go out. If something is not going in or coming out easily, it’s time to tend to it.

Constipation is the worst. It happens for all sorts of reasons, but one I’d like to present today is the issue of time.

Your body operates on a clock. Not a Swiss-designed thing, but more like an adjustable metronome. Plan to poop — at least once a day — by simply making space for it. Ritualize it. Your bathroom. Your preferred relaxing point of focus. Your timing.

Start there before you reach for anything outside of you.
