Befriend your body. Rewrite the story of your life.

Hello –
I’m Sonja Semyonova, and I’m a somatic intimacy coach who helps women find the kind of confidence in sex and relationships their grandmothers could have only dreamed of.
Mirror, Mirror: Unspelling the Feminine Erotic
A course to liberate you from the stories that keep you small.
Live, starting November 13, 2025.

The Heartbreak Cure
Within every story of pain lives the story of your power. Write your redemption tale with me as your guide.
“Honestly, I think everyone needs to take this course. It’s rare to navigate life without experiencing heartbreak or obsession, and the profound reframe it offers on pain and pleasure is, in itself, a revelation. What truly elevates it is the undeniable clarity that you are resilient enough to face anything, and that your strength is boundless.”
– Alexandra, 2025 participant
Reclaiming your power starts now.
The BodyStory Clinics aren’t just about pleasure – they’re about pleasure as an act of revolution. They’re about looking within, and drawing out your own desires, in a way that you can finally connect to with real clarity.
So if you’re feeling powerless in these turbulent, unprecedented times – it might not just be more peace you need. It might be more pleasure.

In Your Words
“It is so refreshing and humbling to receive healing from someone who walks you home to your own medicine within your heart. That’s all we could ever ask for. To walk each other home to the truth within.”
-MM

I’m Sonja.
I’m a writer and somatic intimacy coach, and I’m on a mission to revive your confidence.
Your confidence in your body. Your confidence in your words. Your confidence in how you hold yourself in relationships.
As a person who grew up with mixed messages around the value and purpose of my female body (didn’t we all?), I’ve dedicated my life to understanding the power that exists inside this vessel. Over the years, I’ve studied the history of gender, trauma healing, intuitive energy work, mythology, somatic sex education, erotic expression, kink, witchcraft, mythology, narrative healing, psychology, sociology, yoga, herbal medicine, and so much more (if I’m not studying something, I’m probably dead).
Here’s what I’ve found: A woman’s body is filled with power. It just doesn’t look the way you think.
It’s the power of emotional attunement. Of seduction. Of beauty. Of care for the community.
But in front of that power is a cloud of narratives that warp and twist what is natural and sacred to the Goddess.
My work is about helping you name what is true and false. To break narratives that have kept you small and quiet. To expand those that will let you shine.
Those who work with me learn to speak up for their needs, to stay centered in and out of relationships, and to express their sexuality on their terms in the face of all the confusion about it.
If you’re ready to experience the kind of intimacy you’ve always dreamed of (and leave the rest aside) sign up for a free 30-minute call.

"I was surprised by how well Sonja really listened to me, and not just my words. She is present, and thus can find the deeper expression among all the rambling and 'I don’t knows.'"
"Sonja is a wise, authentic guide teaching deep and mind-blowing truths using a fun, light-hearted approach.
After each session, I feel more in touch with my intuition and filled with optimism."

The mysterious musings of my spiraling spine
I injured my knee nearly three years ago. But if I’m being honest, the pain began in 1987.
That was the year I bent over in front of my pediatrician as he showed my mother the growing curve in my spine. I was ten years old. I remember feeling cold, wearing only fuchsia underwear that were a size too big for me and, I felt, slightly risqué for my age. As they went over the details of the progression, treatments, and complications (which included death from suffocation), all I could do was wish that I had chosen different panties.
How to clear the fog
There are many memes about 2020 being a do-over. I laugh too, but I always add an extra punch line: There are no do-overs. There is only what we are given and what we do with it.
Many people have buried themselves in a fog these past six months. It’s the mind’s natural response when faced with too much: COVID-19, racial reckoning, the cruel joke of online schooling, presidential disasters, wildfires…
