Befriend your body. Rewrite the story of your life.

Transform your relationships
Intimate Alchemy
Your relationships with others can only go as deep as your relationship to yourself.
Awaken your capacity for better love and intimacy.
How to heal intimacy wounds
Humans need intimacy. It’s not just a physical need, but a social and emotional one. We are literally wired for connection with each other.
But life often gets in the way.
If you experience challenges around physical and emotional intimacy – whether it’s ED, performance anxiety, low libido, sexual trauma, people pleasing, limerence, attachment difficulties, or struggle to find a meaningful connection in the modern dating world – the first step is to know that you’re not broken.
Your body knows exactly what it needs. But if you’re like most people, you haven’t learned to listen to your body’s wisdom, to overcome shame, and to express your needs while honouring others’ limits.
Finding meaningful relationships doesn’t require you to fix or punish yourself; you only need to embrace your whole, authentic self.
This is the path of intimate alchemy.

What does Intimate Alchemy look like?
Every person who works with me comes with a slightly different set of challenges, strengths, and desires. But nearly everyone has experienced violations of physical or emotional boundaries, struggles with communicating their needs, and a desire for meaningful connection with others.
If you know how powerful your erotic expression is but struggle to express it in a way that creates connection, this work is for you.
How we work together
The work we’ll do together is guided by my studies in somatic sex education, sexological bodywork, BDSM/kink, trauma recovery, energy healing, yoga, herbalism, and esoteric/magical practices. We’ll draw upon all of these to shape a path for you to experience an entirely new framework for your sexuality and intimate relationships.
But above all else – this work is for you. I don’t come with a predetermined agenda for how fast you should move. I bring guidance, wisdom, and practices, but you are the expert on where you want to go.
Sessions can be in-person or online. Depending on how we meet, we might explore:
- movement to reunite you with your pelvis, your feet, and your whole body (men especially often find that working through the body with movement, breath, and nervous system regulation opens doors that years of talking haven’t)
- education on and practice of what consent actually means (beyond “no means no”)
- breathwork to invite life back into parts of you that have been cut off by trauma
- role play and archetype exploration to express, invite, and expel personas that show up
- pleasure coaching to help you overcome barriers and find new possibilities
- touch for you to explore your voice and choice
- creative practices, including journaling, mind mapping, art creation, and more
Our sessions move at the pace of your nervous system with the aim of supporting you to understand your needs and ask for what you want.
A note for men: I receive many inquiries come from men who are quietly carrying something they’re ready to put down. Whether it’s a pattern that isn’t working, a disconnect from desire, suffering in silence, or pretending it’s okay, I offer a rare space where you don’t have to have it figured out. You just have to show up.

Who is this work for?
Intimate Alchemy is for you if you want to shed shame and the lingering effects of trauma.
Intimate Alchemy is for you if you feel like you’re either too much or too little when it comes to sex and relationships.
Intimate Alchemy is for you if you’ve never had a space to talk honestly about sex. Not to perform or impress, but to actually be heard.
You are welcome here if you want to:
- heal traumatic sexual experiences and gain a more resilient nervous system
- address physical limits, such as ED, vaginismus, low libido, and more
- overcome fear and shame of your sexuality
- learn the living practice of true consent (this goes beyond “no means no”)
- explore your sexuality after a divorce, illness, pregnancy, or other big life event
- learn how to build sexual and romantic relationships that feed you and your partners
I invite you to this work if you have a specific intention in mind or if you are just curious about exploring your sexuality. Whatever brings you here, I welcome you on this journey of sex and spirit.
How to begin
We start when you share a bit of your story. Set up a short call with me to share a bit about where you’re at and what I might be able to offer. If we’re a fit, I’ll design a custom package that will help you reclaim your body and voice.
I welcome couples (whether monogamous or open), and people of all genders.
Please note that I don’t accept everyone for Intimate Alchemy. If you are invited to work with me, we will create shared agreements and intentions to guide our time together, such as pacing of sessions, showing up on time, and asking for what you need. As the practitioner, I will uphold these agreements and support you to do the same.
Packages start at $1100.
“I feel more emotionally regulated than i’ve been in years. I finally feel like a strong woman.”
“I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror and say a nice thing about myself when we first started working together. I can say all kinds of nice things to myself now.”
“The work is giving me a sense not just of who I am intimately, but who I am in general”
About me
I’m Sonja Semyonova, a somatic intimacy educator with 20+ years of study and practice of the body, healing, and intimate connection.
My training spans a wide range of focus, but also runs very deep. I spent my early days as a sexual assault counselor, which awakened me to a decades-long study of how we heal trauma physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. On this path I’ve studied psychology, somatics, mysticism, magic, yoga, earth-based traditions, and much more.
Seeing how the power of our sexuality and ingrained need for human-to-human intimacy has been at the heart of both our greatest pain and our greatest pleasure, I have been immersed in the study of sexuality and intimacy since 2018. I’ve studied with a range of teachers and modalities, including somatic sex education and sexological bodywork, BDSM/kink, sexual trauma recovery, and more.
My work is grounded in rigorous training, but it’s also shaped by my own journey through layers of sexual wounding and coming back out the other side. I know what it takes to rebuild a relationship with your body, your desire, and your capacity for real intimacy. And I know it doesn’t happen through willpower alone.
Regardless of why you come here, I’m here to support you to find the tools, language, and permission to understand your body and your erotic life. If you’re done waiting for things to shift on their own, join me for Intimate Alchemy.

What most dating advice gets wrong (and how to finally hear your real authority)
My algorithm loves feeding me dating, sex, and relationship tips. Some are gems, but let’s be honest: most of it is trash. This is especially true if you’re a straight woman trying to actually honor your body while dating. All the noise makes it almost impossible to...
Women, yes, your arousal takes longer. Here’s why it’s a good thing.
If there’s one common refrain I hear amongst women about sex, it’s her fear that she’s taking too long. Too long to initiate. Too long to reach arousal. Too long to climax. My response – too long according to what? It’s true that women tend to have a different arc...
There’s wisdom in your wanting (how to follow it to your highest self)
One of the central teachings I received from nearly all my spiritual studies is this: I should not want what I want. I sat at the feet of yoga teachers and Eastern philosophers who told me over and over again that desires are traps of the mind. Wise ones, I was told,...
